Standard Dampers
AVM offers a complete line of standard dampers. These units can be chosen to dampen on extension or compression with a wide range of damping rates.
Standard dampers are available in two sizes : 6 x 15 dampers with strokes from 2 to 5 inches and 8 x 22 dampers with strokes from 2 to 7 inches.
AVM dampers can be applied anywhere a lid or weight needs to be decelerated. Typical applications include printer covers, liftdown gates, overhead bin doors and steering linkages.

How to Specify a Standard Damper
The product line has been coded so that each component of the product number represents a different element: stroke, rod and tube size, damping direction and rate and connector type.
